Working on any production is like living inside a dark bubble - where you see the same people everyday, have the same routine, eat allot of junk food and have a continuous flow of inside jokes.
I walked out into the sunshine today, away from the comforts of the bubble only wondering how soon can i go back.
I have just finished working on NICA's 3rd yr ensemble show ' Veritas' - my first experience in the industry which I one day hope to call my own. It was a very big learning experience on all different levels, where I not only learned practical skills but also what is expected from me and what you need to do to make your self not only known but, remembered in the right way. I worked hard, made loads of new friends some of who crossed over into the mentor category, and walked away with a huge smile and a truck load of determination to come back again with the perfect cable coil for Richard, the lighting designer.
